About the Academy

The Academy

Outwood Primary Academy Newstead Green is a school where children are valued and parents are welcomed as partners in their child’s learning.
The school’s aim is to provide a quality education for all and we strive to maintain a friendly, yet challenging environment where every child is given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We strongly believe in the importance of each pupil as an individual and that ‘every child matters’. In this way, the pupils remain at the heart of everything we do.
Since joining Outwood Grange Academies Trust, we are striving to build upon the successes of the school and continue to raise standards in order to meet and exceed national expectations. We have a dedicated staff team that are committed to providing the very best possible education for all of our pupils. By working together with children, parents and carers, we aim to provide a school career full of memorable & worthwhile experiences, that will enable them to be both ‘secondary ready’ and lifelong learners.
